Context
I work as a youth researcher at Adelaide University on how African-Australian young people experience education, belonging and identity.
The job is to find the story in the evidence, then write it so educators, policymakers and media can use it.
What I do
- Ran qualitative research with more than 40 young people.
- Wrote reports, summaries and briefings, including a ReConnectEd paper on African cultures in Australian schools.
- Took the work into public: BBC World Service, The Conversation, and briefings for educators and government.
